Bookings are required) 8 week Calm Abiding (CA) Course This course will give a basic introduction to meditation from teachings designed by Lama Choedak Rinpoche and based on traditional Buddhist texts. The facilitator is John Julian, a lay practitioner of Buddhism and senior student of Rinpoche. The course includes teaching, practice and discussion in a seminar format. There will be ample opportunity for clarifying any questions about the practice and for learning a new and practical skill for use in everyday life. The teachings are sequential so attendance each week is encouraged. All groups have strict confidentiality agreements. This evening course will starts on the first Wednesday in May at 7.15pm. A regular support group is then available. The cost of this group is $50.00 for 8 weeks, paid in advance. This program usually has limited positions available so bookings are required.
