We represent the collective of all Aboriginal community controlled health organisations around Victoria. Each of our members is an Aboriginal community controlled organisation: most are multi functional community organisations with health as a key part of their responsibility and some come from groups offering full health services. Each member of VACCHO is independent and are represented by their own spokesperson sent by their local community. VACCHO is not a direct service provider. We are the channel for communities to direct Aboriginal health policies in Victoria. We support locally planned initiatives and work on member's behalf only as requested. Part of our responsibility is co-ordinating state-wide opinion and direction on Aboriginal health issues that affect all member communities.

Once a parent knows all the facts concerning vaccination, they will be empowered to act through knowledge rather than fear. There is nothing more powerful than an idea whose time has come. We urge you to investigate further with an open mind and to act upon your investigation. We welcome all comments and questions. The majority of our information is from mainstream medical sources - the same sources that doctors need to access before advising their patients. Make an informed choice!

We are a non-profit information service which formed in 1997 to address the need for factual information on vaccines. We promote informed choice and encourage people to "investigate before they vaccinate".

Wendy Lydall - Melbourne Based Support

Wendy Lydall has been a health activist for over 20 years, and in that role has both counselled and learned from thousands of parents. She has published articles on a variety of health topics, including vaccination, toxic dental fillings and the irradiation of food with gamma rays. She has written hundreds of letters to high-ranking medical officials in the USA, Britain, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa asking them to provide evidence that supports their claims about immunization. They have not been able to provide this evidence because their claims are wrong. When her first child was born she decided to research immunisation thoroughly. The startling information she unearthed has led her to share her knowledge with other parents.
